Betta paradise in Bangkok! Hidden gem for a betta lovers in Chatuchak market

Please check with your airport legislation before purchasing any live animals to bring home.

For people travelling back to Singapore, you are allowed to carry up to 3 litres of water, maximum 30 fishes. Please put the fishes in your check in luggage and not hand carry. No liquid in hand carry. I placed my fishes in used water bottles and wrapped them in a towel. You can also request the betta seller to double wrap the betta, so it will not burst.

Bettas from Bangkok can be as cheap as 30 baht to 1000 baht

500 – 1000 baht for Giants betta (Gaint are bigger than King betta, some thai sellers call king betta baby giant).

The Pet corner is open every day, some shops open at 10 am, and some at 11 am. Thursday is also know to be a fish day where all fish shop will be well stocked. Please check with betta shop owners on facebook to check if they are open before heading down. Jean Betta would be the best as they are located side by side with other betta shops.

    Because i’m bringin it to Singapore but I don’t know whether I have to declare it or not ..
